Leading Irish recruiters; Premier, Verkom and Brunel rebrand to Morgan McKinley Creation of 75 jobs by Morgan McKinley in Ireland
Premier Group will create 75 jobs in Morgan McKinley’s Irish operations over the next 18 months and as part of its plans for domestic and international growth will invest €1 million to launch and develop the Morgan McKinley brand in Ireland. The 75 new jobs will be based largely at Morgan McKinley’s Irish offices in Dublin and Cork, with a number of new positions in the company’s Kilkenny, Limerick and Waterford offices. Recruitment for the new positions has recently started and all positions are expected to be filled in the next 18 months. The jobs will consist of recruitment consultant positions, as well as roles in Premier Group’s global support services team which covers innovation development, finance, marketing, IT and HR. Minister O’Keeffe said: Chief Executive of Premier Group, Pat Fitzgerald added: “Premier Group acquired Morgan McKinley in 2008 and we operate under this name internationally, so it makes sense to bring this success back home to Ireland. The timing of this rebrand and our investment in business growth also reflects our confidence in the Irish economy and jobs market as we see it start to stabilise from the very low base of job opportunities reached last year. Ireland will be the central hub of our global operations, driving our international growth and in turn, the services we offer our Irish clients and candidates will reflect and benefit from the international reach and expertise that Morgan McKinley has to offer. “Morgan McKinley in Ireland will continue to provide clients and candidates with the highest standards of service. We are the same people and the same Irish-owned company with ambitious plans for growth into new markets under the internationally recognised Morgan McKinley brand.” Premier Group acquired the global operations of Morgan McKinley for €60 million in 2008 with offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. From today, Morgan McKinley becomes the new name for Premier, Verkom and Brunel, each of which were brands of parent company Premier Group.
